                                PARUMALA PERUNAL-2011- CONCLUDED

 The 109th feast of St. Gregorios and the  weel-long pilgrimage to the saints tomb at the St. Pauls and St. Peters church at Parumala to a eremonial close with a holy procession on Wednesday 2nd November,2011 afternoon.
   Scores of pilgrimage reached Parumala in processions from different parts of the state and from the dioceses of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church outside Kerla seeking the intercession of the saint. Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan Baselius Marthoma Paulose II was the chief celebrant of the holy Eucharist celebrated in the morning. Geevarghse Mar Coorilose and Mathews Mar Themothios were the co-celebrants. Houndreds of devotees took part in the prayer of incense that followed. The Catholics and other bishops blessed the congregation assembled on the sprawling seminary premises from the baloney of the church .
   The Catholicos inaugurated a meeting of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Students Movement (MGOCSM) held at the seminary auditorium. Paulose Mar Pachomiose presided over the meeting. Senior Catholicos and former Malankara Metropolitan Baselious Mar Thoma DidymusI inaugurated the year-long centenary celebration of the establishment of the Catholicate in India by lighting a ceremonial lamp. Yakoob Mar Irenius delivered the keynote address.
  the ceremonial procession was held in the afternoon of Wednesday,2nd November marking the culmination of the annual festival. Fr. M.D youhanon Ramban ,Parumala Seminary Manager brought down the ceremonial flag immediately after the culmination of the procession.
