Leopard attacks forest guardsA leopard was shot dead after it attacked and injured six people in West Bengal's Darjeeling district on Tuesday, 19TH July, 2011.. Six people were mauled by the leopard after it strayed into the village. Forest officials made several attempts to tranquilise the full grown leopard that was wandering through a densely populated city. The leopard suffered injuries, as the policemen used batons and knives to save their colleagues.
