BOOKER PRIZ

                                                  BOOKER PRIZE


    Booker Prize is annually awarded by Britain for fiction. The Booker Mc Connell Prize for fiction, also known as the Booker Prize or Booker is the Britain's most prestigious literary prize. It was established in 1969. It is sponsored by Booker Mc Connell Ltd, and administered by National Book League in U.K. It is awarded to the best full- length English novel written in English and published in the proceeding 12 months by a citizen of U.K, Ireland,India,Pakistan, South Africa or any of the other Commonwealth countries. Its name have been changed to "Man Booker Prize for fiction' and the prize amount is 50000 pounds.Now the prize is sponsored by Man group.
