RUBBER CONFERENCE IN CHINA
The Association of Natural Rubber producing countries(ANRPC) is organizing the fourth edition of its annual rubber Conference in Haikon City in the Hainan province of China on November 2nd,2011. The conference ,which would revolve around the theme" Managing uncertainty and developing more elastic supply would be an ideal platform for meaningful interaction and networking among rubber industry players,policy makers, researchers, and analysis to across the countries.
The content of the conference would include seven presentations and two panel discussions covering the following topics. "emerging trends and out look on supply and demand, strategies pf rubber producing countries in the context of uncertainties in supply" new developments in auto tyres manufacturing industry in China and India, growing uncertainties in commodity prices, and development and trends in the natural Rubber Market.
The conference is being organized to conjunction with ANRPC's 34th session of the assembly of its 11 member governments and annual meetings of the executive committee and two technical committees to be held from October 31 to November4 followed by the field trip on November 5 for members to view rubber plantation and related activities in Hainan.
The chairmanship of this inter-governmental organization, head quartered in Kuala Lumpur is at present occupied by the government of India, and China holds the vice chairmanship.
