    The Pavanan Trust has selected Mt. U. Kalanathan for this years Pavanan Award. The Award is in memory of the rationalist and Literary critic Pavanan. Trust president said on Tuesday,14th June,2011 that Mr. Kalanathan, president of the kerala Yukthivadi Sangham was selected for the award in recognition of his contributions as a rationalist and a social worker. The award carries a purse of Rs 5000.
