KERALA HIGHER SECONDARY & VOCATIONAL HIGHER SECONDARY RESULTS-2011
More than 2.4 lakh students from the higher secondary and vocational higher secondary streams have qualified for further studies this year 2011. In the higher secondary School (HSS) examinations. 82.25 percent of the 2,76,115 students who wrote the examination passed. The success rate among girl student was 87.02 percent. while that of Boys was stream 70.14 percent .
VHSS Adimali was the only student to secure the A+ grade for all subjects in the VHSE Examinations. Among 2,795 students who secured A+ for all subjects in the HSS Examinations 1953 were girls. Humanities and Commerce streams were 43 and 29.5 respectively. The maximum number of students with A + grades 57 were from vivekodyam BHSS, Thrissur. Fifty seven (57) higher secondary Schools in the state saw all their students qualify for higher studies when the results of the state higher secondary Examinations. This year, nine marks were given as moderation in both streams to enable students get a D+ grade.
