                                KOLLAM CITY


   A floating Triveni supermarket of the consumer fed is getting ready for launch in the Kollam city. Managing Director, consumer fed, said the floating mall being built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh would cruise the Ashtamudi lake and the Kallada river following a fixed time table. the boat sporting Triveni's typical red- and white squares is already lying berthed at the Kollam boat jetty. The floating mall would have stock of goods worth Rs 20 lakh at a time. All discounts and facilities offered by the Triveni stores would be available at the floating mall. On being launched, it would be the third floating supermarket of the consmmerfed.
   The two other malla were cruising the Vembanad lake covering Kuttanad and they had an average daily turn over of about Rs 50,000 each.
