RAVI VARMA AWARD PRESENTED TO Mr C.N KARUNAKARAN
Artist Namboodiri presented the Raja Ravi Varma Puraskaram 2009 instituted by the state government to C.N Karunakaran. Artist on 10th April,2011. C. N Karunakaran enriched Indian and world art by giving shape to a unique philosophy rooted in Indian cultural and artistic tradition, said Namboodiri. C. N Karunakaran in his acceptance speech, said he felt happy and proud to receive the award from the person he always admired and respected. The function , attended by prominent artists filmmakers and writers.
