Malayala Manorama enters a new era











Malayala Manorama has ventured into the innovative tablet format. Chief Editor Mammen Mathew launched the iPad version of Malayala Manorama, that has been moulded by the renowned media designer Dr. Mario Garcia. Tablets are highly advanced technological tools that combines news, information and entertainment in a handy format. Structurally similar to nursery slates, the ten-inch long ipad screen accommodates news text, videos and sound files. Touch navigation ensures smooth striding from news text to video. High quality pictures and video is yet another advantage of iPad.

               Apple iPad was launched in January 2010 and it turned out to be a popular gadget. It has been estimated that about one and half crore iPads have been sold globally. Though the current price of iPad is Rs, 28,000, the price is expected to come down over the years.
