Jack fruit juice
This is the season for Jack fruit. Come summer and everyone is behind juice. Drinking any amount of liquid does not quench ones thirst. As summer is also the season of jack fruits, why not a juice made out of it. Easy to make and ideal to relieve the heat too. Try this out
Jackfruit (ripe) 15 nos
Jaggery 1 glass
Yellachi 2
Milk 1 glass
Water 2 glass
Deseed the jackfruit and steam it in a pressure cooker. Make a sugar syrup with the jaggery by adding 1 glass of water.
Grind the cooked jackfruit along with yellachi and 2 glasses of water in a mixie. Then mix this with the sugar syrup and pour it into 5 glasses. Then equal amount of milk too. When chilled it tastes delicious.
