SABARIMALA TEMPLE-2010- 70 DAY-LONG ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE SEASON BEGAN

There was huge crowd of devotees at the Sabarimala Sannidhanam when the Ayyappa Temple was opened on Wednesday  morning (17-11-2010) marking the beginning of the 70 day long annual pilgrimage season.
   Thousands of pilgrimage undertook the trek to the temple on Tuesday night and early Wednesday. The Temple was opend at 4 am. thousands of pilgrims from different parts of south India have been camping at Sabarimala for the past three days to offer prayers at the Ayyappa temple on the day of the annual season
