Dr Leelavathy,Literary critic,has been chosen for this years (2010) Ezhuthachan Puraskaram, the highest Literary honor instituted by the state government’ for being the first women to make a’ substantial contribution to the genre of Literary criticism in malayalam.
Announcing this at Dr Leelavathy’s residence at Thrikkakara,Kochi on Sunday 31st October,2010.The selection was made by an award committee headed by poet ONV Kurup, P. Valsala,Poet Sugatha kumari and writer M.N Karassery. The chief Minister will present the award in Thiruvananthapuram in the first week of December.
