VODAFONE ESSAR TO LAUNCH
3G BY EARLY 2011
Third largest mobile carrier Vodafone Essar will launch third generation (3.G) service in the January-march quarter of 2011 and plans to spend up to$500 million over the next few years on its 3 G network.
Vodafone is the second mobile operator to announce specific plans to --3 G after Tata Tele service, which earlier announced plans to launch the service on November 5. Vodafone’s approach is to give customers a world class experience and facility.
