ST.GREGORIOS COLLEGE ALUMNI FAMILY GET-TOGETHER-2010

        
The Alumni Association of St.Gregorios college  conducted its 5^th annual Family Get-together on Saturday 2^nd October at College Seminar Hall. More than 300 members participated. The Family meet started with a prayer song at 10 am. Prof John Kurakar, Vice President of  the association welcommed the gatherings. Prof Thomas Mathew, notable Malayalam Litterateur and Vayalar award winner inaugurated the function. Dr K.C Raju,Principal of the college presided. Mr Ummannoor Gopalakrishnan,notable poet released the Alumni Souvenir. Mr Febi Varghese, Managing Director, KERAFED felicitated on the occasion.

        Alumni Leaders meeting started at 12 am. Mr A.J Thomaskutty, S.P of Crime branch inaugurated the leaders meet. Mr Anil -Varghese, President, Baharain Chapter presided. Mr Mathew.P.Babu,senior manager,K.S.F.E Ltd delivered keynote address. Mr M.Kunjachan Paruthiyara,vice president,Mr G.Balakrishnan,vice president, Mr Roy Mathew ,Secretary,UAE chaptor, Rev.Fr O.Thomas,Exicutive member of the Kerala Kavyakala Sahithy, Mr Ajith Varghese,Membership Secretary,Baharain Chapter, Dr Jero Varghese,UAE Chapter were spoke on the occasion.

        The lunch was started at 1pm. After the lunch,the cultural functiion was started at 2.15 pm. Self introduction was the first item of the cultural programe. Prof.K.K Varkey inaugurated the cultural session.Mr Rajesh S. Pillai,former president,UAE Chapter presided. Mr Sarasan Kottarakara,Prof P.K Varghese, Dr Jacob Thomas, Dr Suman Alexander, Mr Arun Bhaskar, Mr Rajan Mathew Smt Letha Payyolil, Smt R. Geetha, Prof.Molly Kurakar,Prof. Achamma John, Prof.Kunjuoonjama,  smt Lini Nelson were spoke on the occasion.

Kala Mala was inaugurated by Prof John Kurakar,President,Kerala Kavyakala Sahithy at 3 p.m.  Group song, Group dance, Mimicri,Monoact Role play, single songs were performed  in the Kala Mela.

        The Valictory function began at 4 p.m. Mr S Vidyadharan, Circle Inspector of police ina ugurated the function. Dr K.C Raju, Principal presided. Mr Nelson Thomas, Mr JohnVarghese, were spoke. Mr Vidyadharan distributed the Endowment Scholarships, Certificates and other cash awards for the poor and needy students selected by the teachers team of the college and winners of the various competitions. Mr Geroge Kutty,General Convenor expressed vote of thanks. The One day Family meet concluded at 5 p.m with National Anthem.
