COMMONWEALTH GAMES-CORRUPTION
Corruption is not new to us. Only its degree varies. Corruption has become an accepted syndrome in daily life. Nothing can be achieved or done in India without corruption.
The India government has rightly ordered a probe in to the alleged corruption and irregularities in the conduct of the Commonwealth Games. The CWG was a platform for India to prove to the world that it can organise a big event. But the way it was conducted- with a lot of controversy and mismanagement showcased our incapability to organise a big event and exposed rampant corruption, poor infrastructure and mismanaged hospitality.
There is second opinion that corruption dominates every field and has almost became of the organisers of the Games is premature.
