ONE RANK,ONE PENSION

The ex-servicemen, especially wives of deceased personnel, several hundreads of former soliders and officers on Sunday 22 nd August,2010, collected medals and submitted a memorandum to the president seeking’ One Rank,One Pension (OROP). Former soldiers and over 300 women assembled at Jantar Mantar in support of the demand.
Some 6,000 medals have been collected to be returned to the Armed Forces,and submitted a memoradum caontaining 1.25 lakh signatured in blood at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 22nd August.
