WORLD RECORD
Sachin Tendulkar became the first man to score a double century in one day Internationals. The great man's unbeaten off 147 balls helped defeat soth Africa by 153 runs in the second ODI at Gwalior on Wednesday 24th February 2010,and gae the host an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Tendulkar's innings surpassed the previous record for the highest score in ODIS-194, which was set by Pakistan's Saeed Anwar in 1997 and equaled by Zimbabwe's Charles Coventry in 2009.
