UNITED RELIGIOUS INITIATIVE
The united Religious initiative is a growing global Community dedicated to ending religiously motivated violence. URI is dedicated to creating cultures of peace, justice for the earth and all living beings.
URI is working across continents people from different religions, different spiritual expressions. Where the people respect one another’s belief there were no religious violence. In 1996, thousands of people shared their visions and worked together to create the URI. It is an Association for global rooted in shared spiritual values.
URI respect the uniqueness of each tradition and differences of belief. URI believe that sharing of our values and wisdom can led us to act for the good of all. URI unite to build cultures peace and justice. URI unite to heal and protect the earth.
The URI is a bridge building organization, not a religion. URI respect the sacred wisdom of each religion, spiritual expression and tradition. URI encourage members to deepen their roots in their own tradition. URI give and receive hospitality
