ELECTION -2009

ELECTION 2009
To day the People do not know whom to vote for. It is shocking to see even senior politicians jumping the fence because theu could not get the ticket to represent certain constituencies. They are not worried about serious issues such as un employment. The common people can not depend on politicians who are not faithful to the parties which strengthened their hands.
If is no different now, the candidate get elected, make money and go. Many of those who contest the Elections are corrupt or have a criminal record
All Political parties are announcing various benefits in their election Manifestos . No party is saying anything on eradicating corruption. There are no infrastructure development commitments either.
Bharatya Janatha Party promised to give each below poverty level family a quota of 35 kg rice or wheat at Rs 2 a kg, bettering a similar offer by the congress at Rs 3 a kg. Union Defence Minister A.K Antony said that the UPA Government had implemented all promised made in the Common Minimum programme.
The NCP is targeting rural India with a focus on irrigation and increased funds to complete pending works. The MKanifesto promised better agricultural prices to benefit 65 percent of the population and give loans at reduced interest rates. NCP contesting over 40 Loksabha seats in the country
