The Bhavani River flows almost along the eastern boundary o0f Bhavani Range and parallel to kunthi puzha River. Either banks of this river hilly, supporting forests with grasslands and unclothed rocks. The river takes a sharp turn eastwards at mukkali, where panthamthode joins Bhavani and flows to Coimbatore District joining Cauvery
