and Cancer Awareness Seminar Held

The inauguration of the Palliative Care Women’s Unit and the Cancer Awareness Seminar, held at Kurakar Education Center, Kottarakkara, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., was a grand success.

Dr. Mary Mathew, Managing Director of Rafa Aroma Hospital, inaugurated the Palliative Care Women’s Unit and the seminar.Prof. John Kurakar, President of the Kerala Palliative Care Initiative (KPCI), presided over the function.

Vice Presidents Kunjachan Paruthiyara, Neeleswaram Sadashivan and Renji Mylam, along with Prof. Molly Kurakar, Kunjumon Cherukara, Mathew Luke, Shiny Palliative, Menu John, Thankachan Anjanam, Mrs. Percy Kunjachan, Geetha, Mani, M. P. Viswanathan and Alex Mathew, addressed the gathering.

The meeting concluded at 11:30 a.m.
