On Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 9:30 AM, an establishment named "Varkichan-Ittichan Food Court" commenced operations at the Kottarakkara Kurakkar Education  Center. At 10:30 AM, the award distribution ceremony of the Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi took place. Awards were presented to 17 students who participated in the quiz competition held on July 25. Kottarakkara Municipality Councillor and former Headmaster, Mr. K.G. Alex, inaugurated the award presentation. Prof. John Kurakkar, President of Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi, presided over the function.

The educational class was inaugurated by Prof. Nirmala Mathew. The event was addressed by Mailam Renji, Jacob Mathew Kurakkaran, Rachana Publication Chairman K. Bhaskaran, Adv. Sajan Koshy, Divya M., Kunjumon Cherukara, Thankachan Anjanam, Matha Gurupriya, Dr. Ashraf, Mr. Akhil, Prof. Moly Kurakkar, Mrs. Manju Binu, and Sunil, among others. During the Kavya Kala workers' conference, 6 individuals were granted membership in the Kavya Kala Sahithi. The educational session was led by Mr. Jacob Mathew, former Chief Manager of the State Bank of India.

Following lunch, at 2:30 PM, the monthly seminar of the "Pusthaka Premi Sangham" (Book Lovers' Club) was held at the Research Library of the Kurakkar Education Center. In the discussion centered on C.J. Thomas's book "Fascist Communism", Rachana Publication Chairman K. Bhaskaran presented the paper, and members actively participated. The meeting concluded at 5:00 PM.
