Songs of Soul," Written by Dr. Abraham Karickam Based on the 108 Upanishads, Released

The book "Songs of Soul," a collection of poems written by Dr. Abraham Karickam based on the teachings of the 108 Upanishads, was officially released on 30 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Karickam International Public School.

The book was released by His Grace Mathews Mar Seraphim Episcopa. During the function, Prof. John Kurakar, President of the Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi, introduced the poetry collection Songs of Soul to the audience. In his address, Prof. Kurakar spoke about the profound influence of the Vedas and the Upanishads on the work and highlighted their enduring philosophical significance.

The meeting was addressed by Swami Bodhendra Tirtha, Mrs. Fathima from Bosnia, Mrs. Sarah Oliver from South Africa, Mrs. Jijiyasa from New Delhi, Prof. Kaviyoor Sivaprasad, film director and award winner, Prof. Dr. Gigi Joseph, and Kumari Likhitha Mariam Yohannan.

The musical performance was presented by Mrs. Athira. Dr. Abraham Karickam, the author of Songs of Soul, delivered the reply speech and expressed his gratitude to the guests and participants.The function commenced with a prayer song. Mrs. Shibi Johnson delivered the welcome address, while Mrs. Ann Mary Abraham proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded at 12:30 p.m.
