Before his cremation, Dhyan Srinivasan
requested a piece of white paper and a pen to be placed in the pyre. As he prepared to leave,
he expressed the desire for something meaningful to accompany him, highlighting
the significance of words. When the paper and pen arrived, he asked his close
friend, Sathyan Anthikad, to write something. With a heavy heart, Sathyan
wrote: "May only goodness come to everyone," reflecting the essence
of Srinivasan's character.
In the
next moment, those words were consumed by the flames along with Dhyan, leaving
behind cherished memories. Sathyan shared his emotional turmoil, recalling a
lesson from Srinivasan about writing dialogues not for oneself but for the
characters, emphasizing that Srinivasan was the character in this moment.
