WORLD’SLARGEST BIRD SCULPTURE
ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പക്ഷിശില്‍പംജടായു പാറയിൽ

andfamily visited Jadayumangalamtourist center on 4th June,2019.Chadayamangalam
or Jadayumangalam is historically an important place. It is just 37.5 km away
from the City of Kollam and 43 km away from the capital city of the state,
Thiruvananthapuram. It's a beautiful town lying between Kilimanoor and
Kottarakara, 14 km away from Kilimanoor and 21 km from Kottarakara. jadayu para
is one of the most prominent picnic spot in kollam district. this is rock
themed natural park launched in 2016. and also it is one of the world’s largest
bird sculpture. the rock theme park is spread in 66 acres at jadayumangalam.
bird sculpture at jadayumangalam is a public project with the co-operation of
tourism department of kerala government. the bird statue designed by the famous
director rajeev anchal. this is a big budget project, approximate 100 crore is
the expense of the sculpture. located 70 meter height, 200 meter long and 150
feet wide, there is a 6d theater house present to showing ramayana based
themes.
According to hindu
mythology it close to the epic, ramayana jadayu is an eagle, son of aruna and
sheyni, ravana abducted sita when rama, lakshmana and sita was lead a forest
life. jatayu try to stop ravana, but became cruel against him, ravana cut the
wings of jadayu, it falls down to this place and hence known as jadayu para.jadayu
surrendered for death after the arrive of rama to this place he take the last
breath on rama’s lap. it is believed that the footprint appears on this rock is
belongs to lord rama.
The park is divided
into three sections, jadayu para located 30 km from kollam, the place is easily
connect the main areas of kerala, kollam is the nearest major railway station,
the closest airport is trivandrum international airport located about at a
distance 52 kilometers. it will open from daily 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. the interesting
tourist places located neighbor to jadayu para are palaurvi waterfall,thenmala,

സമുദ്രനിരപ്പില്‍നിന്നു 750 അടി ഉയരത്തിലുള്ള കൂറ്റന്‍ പാറക്കെട്ടിലാണ് ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പക്ഷിശില്‍പമായേക്കാവുന്ന ജടായു പക്ഷിശില്‍പം ..സംവിധായകന്‍ രാജീവ് അഞ്ചലാണ് ജടായുപദ്ധതിയുടെ സൂത്രധാരൻ .പാറയുടെ മുകളിൽ എത്താൻ ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ ദൂരത്തില്‍ കേബിള്‍ കാര്‍ ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു
.പ്രകൃതിയെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള പദ്ധതിയാണിത് .രണ്ട് കൂറ്റന്‍ പാറകളെ യോജിപ്പിച്ച് ചെക് ഡാം നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു . ഇവിടെ ശേഖരിക്കുന്ന മഴവെള്ളം ജടായുപ്പാറയുടെ
താഴ്വരകളില്‍ പച്ചപ്പ് നിലനിർത്തുന്നു .
പാറയുടെ മുകളിൽ എത്താൻ സ്വിറ്റ്സര്‍ലന്‍ഡില്‍നിന്നു ഇറക്കുമതിചെയ്ത കേബിള്‍കാര്‍ സംവിധാനമാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.
കേബിള്‍ കാറിലൂടെയെത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരിയെ അനതിവിദൂരഭാവിയിൽ
കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത് ശില്പത്തിനുള്ളിലെ അത്ഭുതക്കാഴ്ചകളാണ് . ത്രേതായുഗത്തിലെ രാമായണകഥയുടെ മായികാനുഭവമാണ് ഇവിടെ സഞ്ചാരിയെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. പൂര്‍ണമായും ശീതീകരിച്ച പക്ഷിയുടെ ഉള്‍വശത്തുകൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ച് കൊക്കുവരെ ചെല്ലാം. തുടര്‍ന്ന് പക്ഷിയുടെ കണ്ണിലൂടെ പുറത്തെ കാഴ്ചകള്‍ കാണാം. പക്ഷിയുടെ ഇടത്തേക്കണ്ണിലൂടെ ദൂരെ അറബിക്കടലും വലത്തേക്കണ്ണിലൂടെ സമീപദൃശ്യങ്ങളും കാണാന്‍ കഴിയും.പണികൾ അതിവേഗംനടക്കുകയാണ് ശില്പത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ തന്നെ രാവണ-ജടായു യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ 6ഡി തിേയറ്റര്‍ സംവിധാനവും
തയാറായിവരുന്നു . കേരളത്തില്‍ മറ്റെങ്ങുമില്ലാത്ത റോക്ക് ട്രക്കിങ്ങിനുള്ള അവസരമാണ് ഇവിടെയുള്ളത്. ഇതുകൂടാതെ അഡ്വഞ്ചര്‍ പാര്‍ക്കും ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ യാത്രയും ഈ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി
മാറും .
ജടായു-രാവണയുദ്ധം ജടായുപ്പാറയില്‍ വെച്ചാണ് നടന്നതെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. വെട്ടേറ്റു വീണ ജടായുവിനെ ഓര്‍മപ്പെടുത്തും വിധമാണ് ശില്‍പം. 200 അടി നീളവും 150 അടി വീതിയും 75 അടി ഉയരവുമുണ്ട് പക്ഷിശില്‍പത്തിന്. വെട്ടേറ്റുവീണ ജടായുവിന്റെ കൊക്ക് പാറയില്‍ ഉരഞ്ഞ് രൂപപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന് കരുതുന്ന പദ്മതീര്‍ഥക്കുളം ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. പിന്നീട് സീതയെ അന്വേഷിച്ചെത്തിയ രാമന്‍ വെട്ടേറ്റുകിടക്കുന്ന ജടായുവിനെ കാണുകയും മോക്ഷം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തുവെന്നാണ് ഐതിഹ്യം. ഈസമയം ശ്രീരാമന്റെ പാദമുദ്ര ജടായുപ്പാറയില്‍ പതിഞ്ഞെന്നും സങ്കല്പമുണ്ട്.
