U.R.I BANGLADESH 
INTERFAITH SEMINAR

                URI Bangladesh. On the 23rd of September URI Bangladesh hosted a interactive session on implementing the vision and mission of URI specially promoting interfaith cooperation among the very energetic and diverse youth group from Dhaka University. Dr. Kazi Nurul Islam, Prof. Nusrat Sultana, Dr. Abdul Hye, Prof. Tapan Rosario and Mr. Biswadeb Chakraborty engaged in conversation with the youth group , each of us had very interactive conversation with the group sharing our own interfaith encounter at earlier stage in our life. Youth group was very inspired to know about the reason/s that attracted us to choose the work of interfaith cooperation at both personal and organizational level. We also shared our experience of impact that took place in our life because of interfaith encounter. Students also shared their views and daily experience of interfaith challenges and hope for future. 
               I was very privileged to provide them information on URI young leaders program, certainly that call relates to them faster as a result we plan for a workshop in near future with largest participants from them. 
On the 24th morning, I met the vice chancellor of Dhaka University ( DU) honorable Professor Dr. A A M S Arefin Siddique. Welcomed with high tea, we had discussed on the policy and role of united nation in promoting interfaith cooperation t the same time how as a bridge building organization we can raise our voices and influence the policy makers of those countries where common people get victimized by religiously motivated violence which often seen the cause of exploitation.   Prof. Siddique  welcome the purpose of URI and expressed his support towards interfaith cooperation and promoting education at ground level. I have also updated prof. Siddique about our ongoing URI activities in Bangladesh. At the end I was honored with memento of DU. Prof. Siddique was also honored by a special hand woven fabric from Manipur.
