TRINCOMALEE MARBLE BEACH
Marble beach is the ideal place to feel the sun on your back and the whispers
of the wind as you discover the magical east coast of Sri Lanka. Designed with
the beauty of the natural surroundings in mind, Marble
Beach Air Force Resort blends well with its environment,
enabling you to experience the wonders of nature with modern conveniences by
your side. The six themed cabanas each boast a distinct style and are full of
character while providing a tranquillity that can seldom be found elsewhere.Beautiful beach but was
packed with people. They charge Rs.10 entrance fee per person, and Rs.50 for
light vehicle and Rs.100 per bus etc.. The access road to the site is small,
and due to the large number of buses and other vehicles a traffic builds up. we
were stuck for more than 30mins on our way out.
it is
a place where one can enjoy the scenic beauty of the eastern coast of Sri Lanka
while basking in the history of this strategic town, boasting of one of the
largest natural harbours in the world. Air Force Resort Marble Beach, located
not very far from the newly built Kinniya Bridge, the longest bridge in Sri
Lanka is built around Marble Beach, a virgin stretch of beach which has always
been synonymous with Trincomalee.
