The Mar Thoma Syrian Church to set up a new diocese –
 Punalur-Kottarakara diocese. The new diocese with its headquarters 
at Kottarakara.Yuyakim Mar Coorilos Episcopa is
 the Metropolitan of the new diocese The formal inauguration 
was held on 26^th January, 2014 at Kottarakara Jubilee Memorial Center.
