 ASAN MEMORIAL AWARD

NK Desam won this year's Asan memorial poetry award instituted by Asan memorial association for his overall contribution to the poetry field. The award carries a purse of Rs 30,000, certificate and plaque. The award would be presented at a function to be held on November 3 in Chennai. This is the biggest award for poetry in Malayalam.
