TOXINS IN RICE
Recent studies have shown
that there is high level of arsenic in rice which leads to cell damage. Over
the last few years, researchers have reported high concentrations of arsenic in
several rice-growing regions around the world. China, a high rice-consumption
country, has already moved for regulatory agencies to set a safety standard for
rice. Arsenic is linked to a host of human cancers, including malignancies of
both bladder and lungs. The FDA says it is studying the issue and to know more
