Mankoottathil Mariamma Varghese, Mother of Prof. Sabu Varghese( St. Gregorios
College, Kottarakara) died on 10th May,2013.She was 81 Her Husband
M.V Varghese died six months ago.. She is survived by a son Prof Sabu Varghese and two daughters
Susan Thomas and Suja John. Fueral was at 1.30 pm on 12th May,2013. at
St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Umayattukara
Ammachis body placed at her house for the near and dear to pay their
last respects on 12thMay,2013. Hundreds from all sections of the society paid
their last respects. Among those who paid their last respects to Mariamma Varghse on 12hMay include Prof.
John Kurakar, Prof. Molly Kurakar, Mr. Sarasan Kottarakara, Prof. T.J
Johnson, Prof Jessiamma, Prof. Varghse
