രണ്ടു വ്യത്യസ്ത സ്ഫോടനങ്ങളില് തമിഴ്നാട് സ്വദേശി ഉള്പ്പെടെ രണ്ടു പേര്
മരിച്ചു. ഒരാള്ക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റു. മരിച്ച രണ്ടാത്തെയാള്
ബംഗ്ലാദേശുകാരനാണ്. തമിഴ്നാട് സ്വദേശി ടി.മുരുകയ്യനാണ് മരിച്ച ഇന്ത്യാക്കാരന്.ഖുതൈബിയയിലും അദലിയയിലുമാണ് തിങ്കളാഴ്ച പുലര്ച്ചെ സ്ഫോടനങ്ങളുണ്ടായത്.

അപകടത്തിനിടയാക്കിയതെന്ന് പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. അദലിയയില് അവാല് സിനിമയ്ക്കടുത്താണ്
സ്ഫോടനമുണ്ടായത്. പരിക്കേറ്റയാള് ഏഷ്യക്കാരനായ ശുചീകരണത്തൊഴിലാളിയാണെന്ന് പോലീസ്
അറിയിച്ചു. ഉപേക്ഷക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയില് കിടക്കുന്ന വസ്തുക്കള് തൊടരുതെന്നും സംശകരമായ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളില് ഉടന് പൊലീസിനെയോ 999 എന്ന നമ്പറിലോ അറിയിക്കണമെന്നും ഗവര്ണറേറ്റ് പോലീസ് ഡയറക്ടര് ജനറല് അറിയിച്ചു. സര്ക്കാര് വിരുദ്ധ പ്രക്ഷോഭകരും പോലീസും തമ്മിലുള്ള പോരാട്ടം രൂക്ഷമാകുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ബഹ്റൈനില് സ്ഫോടനമുണ്ടായത്. പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തെത്തുടര്ന്ന് ബഹ്റൈന് ഭരണകൂടം രാജ്യത്ത് പ്രതിഷേധ പ്രകടനങ്ങള് നടത്തുന്നതും കൂട്ടംകൂടുന്നതും നിരോധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സുന്നിരാജവംശം രാജ്യത്തെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷ സമുദായമായ ഷിയവിഭാഗത്തോട് കാണിക്കുന്ന അവഗണനകള് അവസാനിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നും കൂടുതല് ജനാധിപത്യം കൊണ്ടുവരണമെന്നും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടായിരുന്നു അറബ് വസന്തത്തിന്റെ തുടര്ച്ചയായി ബഹ്റൈനില് പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളുണ്ടായത്.മുന്കാലങ്ങളില് നടന്ന ജനാധിപത്യ പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളില് തലസ്ഥാനമായ മനാമയിലെ സുപ്രധാന സ്ഥലങ്ങള് സമരക്കാര് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുകയും ചിലവ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. 2011 ഫിബ്രവരിയിലും മാര്ച്ചിലുമായി നടന്ന ജനാധിപത്യ പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളില് 35- ഓളം പേര് മരിക്കുകയും നൂറോളം പേര്ക്ക് പരിക്കേല്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ആയിരക്കണക്കിനാളുകളെ ജയിലിലടച്ചു. 45 പേര് കൂടി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടതായാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷ സംഘടനകള് ആരോപിക്കുന്നതെങ്കിലും സര്ക്കാര് അത് അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടാഴ്ചയായി നടക്കുന്ന പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളില് രണ്ട് പോലീസുകാര് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
At least two people have been killed in Bahrain's capital Manama after a series of blasts went off, authorities say.The interior ministry said two Asian men, including one trash collector, were killed in Monday's explosions, adding a third person was only injured.It said at least five homemade explosive devices exploded.
The apparently co-ordinated explosions point to escalating levels of violence by anti-government forces in the nearly 21-month uprising against the Arabian Gulf state's Western-leaning Sunni Muslim rulers.The official Bahrain News Agency described the blasts as an "act of terrorism". It said the explosions took place between 4.30am and 9.30am (0130 and 0630 GMT) in the Qudaibiya and Adliya districts of Manama. BNA gave no more details on the incidents which come after the government said last week it had banned all rallies and gatherings to ensure public safety.
The ban was condemned by the London-based Amnesty International as a violation of the right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.Police have been targeted by explosions several times this year, as the government has stepped up efforts to quell an uprising that has simmered since democracy protests broke out in early 2011.But bombs targeting civilians are rare in the kingdom, where the Sunni Muslim Al Khalifa family rules over a majority Shia population. Bahrain, a US ally, is home to the US Navy's 5th Fleet.Foreign ministers from the Gulf Co-operation Council - made up of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - plan to meet in Manama on Wednesday to discuss regional issues.The meeting will discuss Bahrain's tensions and growing clashes in Kuwait between security forces and an opposition led by Islamists. More than 55 people have been killed in Bahrain's unrest since February 2011 as the nation's majority Shia press for a greater political voice.
