RICH TRIBUTES PAID TO INDIRA GANDHI ON DEATH ANNIVERSARY

The former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi was remembered on her 28^th death anniversary on Wednesday,31^st October,2012
President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi paid rich tributes to the departed leader.Floral tributes was paid to Indira Gandhi at Shakti Sthal, the memorial of Gandhi, on Wednesday morning.

Vice President Hamid Ansari, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar,  Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna were also present on the occasion.
   Union Ministers Sushul Kumar Shinde, Salman Khurshid, M Veerappa Moily, Kamal Nath, P K Bansal and Narayana Swamy and new inductees Deepa Dasmunsi and Chiranjeevi were also present.
   Devotional songs were played at the venue. A speech by Indira Gandhi was also played on the occasion. The Kottarakara based Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy and Kurakar Cultural Forum remembered Indira Gandhi on her 28^th death anniversary. A meeting was held at Kurakar Town Center at 2 pm. Prof. John Kurakar, President ,Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy presided, Mr. Neelaswaram Sadasivan, Mr. Babu Oomman, Prof. Varghese John, P.C Chacko spoke on the occasion.
