ART, ST.GREGORIOS COLLEGE MEET-2012
12th annual meet of the
Association of Retired Teachers of St. Gregorios College, Kottarakara was held
on 21st September,2012 at 10.am am at Neha Hall, Kalayapuram. The
function was began at 10 30 am with silent prayer. After the condolence meeting,
Prof. John Kurakar welcomed the members. Prof. Achamma John, President, ART
presided.Prof. Abraham Philip, Patron of the Association inaugurated the annual
meet. Prof. P.A Mathew, Prof. Jacob Rajan and Prof. G.M Tharakan addressed on
the inaugural session.
Second session was
the Felicitation. The association felicitated Prof Abraham Philp for his
valuable contribution to the entire teaching community. Now he is serving as
state president of the All Kerala Retired Teachers Association. Prof.K.G Mathew
delivered felicitation speech and presented Golden shall (Ponnada) The Meeting
celebrated the birthday of Prof. Abraham Philip and Prof. K.O Johnson.
Third session- “Veettu
Vishasham” was began 11 .30 am. Prof. K.J Cherian, Prof. T.Babu Kutty, Prof.
T.G Rajan,, Prof. John Rajan, Prof. Kunjuoonjamma, Prof. Annamma
George,, Prof. L.Koshy,, Mr. Eapen Cherian,, Dr. Purushothama Bhatt,, Prof. KO Johnson, Prof. K.G.Mathew, Prof. Leelamma Samuel, Prof.M.K Joykutty were actively participated on the programme. The Oath Ceremony was at 12.30 pm. Dr K.C Raju, Prof. Thampi David, Prof. Gracen George, Dr. T.V Thomas, Prof. J.V Panicker, and Dr. VenugopalaPillai were inducted as ART new members on the occasion. The new members spoke on the meeting. The last session was the business meeting. Prof. Abraham Philip and Prof. V.K Mathew gave important point of service and association matters. Dr. Jacob John expressed vote of thanks. The meeting was concluded with prayer and lunch.
