INTERNATIONAL HORTI EXPO
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the second
international Horti expo-2012 here on September 21.Agriculture Minister K P
Mohanan will preside over the inaugural function and Rural development and
Planning Minister K C Joseph will inaugurate the theme Pavillion, Chief
coordinator of the organising committee A P Abdullakuttry said .State
Horticulture mission will organize a five-day event upto September 25, to
showcase products and services relating to horticulture diversity, inputs,
productivity and post harvest managements, buyer-seller meet, exchange of
indigenous technology know-how and best practices in Agriculture.Around 250
stalls, including those from Norway, Italy, Israel, Sri Lanka and Holland will
be put up to introduce their farming methods. (UNI)
