Behzad Group of Companies' Chairman and Managing Director C K Menon has been
chosen for the coveted P V Sami Memorial Industrial and Socio Cultural Award. Talking
to reporters here today, P V Sami Memorial Trust Trustee and Noted
Industrialist P V Gangadharan said Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy would
present the award at a function to be presided over by Overseas Indian Affairs
Minister Vayalar Ravi on September 1.Later, Kerala Tourism Minister A P Anil
Kumar would inaugurate a P V Sami Memorial Meet, he said adding a seminar on
'Kerala, an Investor Friendly State - Possibilities and Hurdles, which would be
inaugurated by Chief Secretary K Jaya Kumar, would be held. Well-known industrialists,
Capt C P Krishnan Nair, M A Yusufali, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Dr B Ravi Paillai,
P N C Menon, M P Ramachandran and Gulfar Mohamedali were the winners of the
award earlier.
