KURAKARAN WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION VISTED GANDHIBHAVAN

The members of the Kurakaran Women’s Association visited Pathanapuram Gandhibhavan on 15^th August, 2012, Independence Day. Charity Journey started from Kotttarakara at 1.30 pm with a prayer song. The team includes 25 members. Gandhi Bhavan Governing Committee arranged a Charity meeting at the cultural auditorium at 4.30 pm. Mr. Somarajan, Secretary of the Gandhibhavan Trust welcomed the members of the Kurakaran Women’s Association. Prof. John Kurakar presided. Rev. Fr. Joji. K. Joy, Vicar, Karuvatta Orthodox church delivered Independence message. Mrs. Chinnamma John, President of the Association, Prof. Molly Kurakar, Treasurer, Mrs. Animon Thomas, Mrs. Mariamma Jacob and Mrs. Omana Lukose also addressed the meeting. Kurakaran Women's association president hand over a cash award of Rs.10,300 and other dress items to the Gandhibhavan secretary.
