TRIBUTE PAID TO NOVELIST JAYDEVAN

Novelist Paamadath Janardhana Menon, who is known by his pen name Jayadevan, passed away here on Wednesday,11^th July,2012. He was 82. He had served the Ernakulam HC and trial courts. He was a known figure in Malayalam novel literary world.Jayadevan also worked with Law ministry under the central ministry and as Income Tax Appelate Tribunal judicial member. 

He also wrote many short stories and dramas. His main writings are Gopuradwarathil, Ahambhavangal and Vrishchikakattil. His stories were translated into Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and English.Wife is Chandrika Menon and children Ammu, Krishna Menon and Devakumar.
