TRIVANDRUM BENGALI ASSOCIATION PAID TRIBUTE TO
TAGORE
Every day is a
day to celebrate Gurudev's contribution to the world. It was with this thought
that the Trivandrum Bengali Association organised a programme on Sunday ,10th June,2012 ,to commemorate the 151 birth
anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Bengalis in the city
assembled at Hassan Marikar Hall to pay tribute to and celebrate the life and
works of ‘Gurudev' Tagore. The chief guest of the function was Dean of Research
and Development at the Indian Institute for Space Science Technology (IIST) V.
Adimurthy. Tagore's works transcended not only time, but also various
disciplines, he said.
