Vagamon situated in the hillls of kerala, some 65 kms from thekkady, full of tea estate and plantations.very scenic area. we were four families visited vagamon heights and we took a single cottage with two bedrooms and extra beds. the estate situated in a remote and in the middle of their estate. wow what a place ... we didn't have any idea of this estate and went blank. but stunned after reached there. very peaceful place more or like in the middle of jungle. there are two lakes inside thier property, very scenic....awesome response from the people worked there. good food. no negatives... really must place to go if you like a remote estate. will not forget that two nights staying there... highly recommend.
A stay in this resort provided us with, the heights of glory. Remarkable in every altitude that we traverse, the experience refuses to cease, as we penetrate through the ubiquitous jungle of mysteries and enigma. Any activity on this remote fantasia can never get better, with its charm, solitude and audacity. So, I would recommend you all, to come and devour, the vibrant emotions, of a lifetime The sprawling 250 acres property is very well planned and managed with real professionalism. The cleanliness and maintenance of the entire resort was unimaginable, the activities were breath taking and refreshing. Vagamon Heights has the distinction of having the only Lake in Vagamon. The various activities include, Trekking, Hiking  The ART( Association of Retired Teachers of Kottarakara College conducted its annual study camp on 15th and 16th of May 2012 at Vagamon Heights Resort . The team of ART members started its journey from Kottarkara on 15th May, 2012 at 8 am. The team reached Vagamon at 1 pm. After the lunch Inagural session of the study camp began at 3pm at the open auditorium of the  resort. The resort arranged Treking through the deep forest and top of the hill areas of the vagamon. They also arranged Boating through the Vagamon Lake. The second session of the ART was at 8.30 pm on 15th May. Prof. Achamma John, President of ART  presided.Prof. John Kurakar, Secretary of the Association welcomed the members. Prof.T.Babu Kutty inaugurated the Study Camp. Prof.K.J Cheriyan,,Prof.John Rajan, Prof. George Thomas,Prof. Annamma George, Prof. Nirmala Mathew Prof. M.Annamma, Prof Annamma George, Prof. Jessy George,, Prof. P.K Varghese, Mrs Lissy Varghese, Prof.Molly Kurakar, Prof. Leelamma Babukutty Mrs Molly Cheriyan  were addressed the meeting The women’s team of ART presented  devotional songs. The grand child of Prof.Babukutty & Prof.K.J Cherian were also participated on the study camp and tour.
