VASTHU-CORRESPONDENCE COURSE

 The State-run Vasthu Vidya Gurukulam at Aranmula, attached to the Cultural Affairs Ministry, aimed at promotion of traditional architecture and murals, has invited applications for its one-year diploma course (correspondence) in traditional architecture.In a statement issued e on Saturday18th May,2012, Gurukulam executive director P.N. Suresh said candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university were eligible to apply for the course. Diploma-holders in architecture and civil engineering can also apply for the course.The total number of seats is 300 and the fee for the one-year course (including service tax) is Rs. 7,500.
Applications
Applications are available at the Gurukulam office at Aranmula on payment of Rs.100 towards registration fee as postal order or money order, in the name of Executive Director, Vasthu Vidya Gurukulam, Aranmula-689533 (Ph.0468-2319740), payable at Aranmula Post Office.The application form can also be downloaded from the website www.vastuvidyagurukulam.com. Duly filled applications should reach the Gurukulam office on or before July 20, the official release said.
