LAND
AGITATION IN WAYANAD
Led by CPM, the
tribal welfare committee has once again started the land agitation in Wayanad.
Around two hundred families took over reserved forest area in two places and
put up flags. The agitators led by AKS, the tribal organization of the CPM,
protested by erecting huts in Chiyamba and Thondarnattu. Tribals in large
numbers have come forward to join the agitation. (manorama-8th May,2012)
