PRIME MINISTER CONGRATULATED THE SCIENTISTS FOR PSLV LAUNCH

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh   today,27^th April,2012,hailed the successful launch of PSLV carrying RISAT-1 and congratulated the scientists associated with the project. The Prime Minister called Secretary Department of Space and Chairman Indian Space Research Organisation KRadhakrishnan to congratulate him and the scientists for the successful launch, the PMO said.India's first indigenous all-weather Radar Imaging Satellite (RISAT-1), whose images will facilitate agricultureand disaster management, was launched successfully on board the PSLV-C19 from Sriharikota in the early hours .
