KERALA GIRL TO DISPLAY PAINTINGS AT LALITKALA AKADEMY

An exhibition of paintings by 15-year-old Varsha Renjit from Kerala will be held at Lalit Kala Akademy in New Delhi from April 9 to 12. Eminent artist Anjolie Ela Menon will open the exhibition at a brief ceremony in which noted artist and art historian Manisha Patil will be the guest of honour, the organisers said. One of the youngest artists to win wide appreciation within a short span, this is going to be Varsha's seventh solo exhibition in India and the first in the national capital. Varsha, who has just completed 10th class, has excelled in acrlyic medium and her exhibitions have been conducted under the theme "raindrops." Over 40 of her works would be on display at Lalit Kala Akademy
