KERALA BIDS ADIEU TO JOSE PRAKASH

Kerala Monday bid adieu to actor Jose Prakash who had passed away here Saturday. His body was laid to rest at the St. Mary's Cathedral cemetery. The body of the veteran actor was moved to the Ernakulam Town Hall by 10 a.m. Monday,26th March,2012, for the public to pay their tribute. The final journey to the cemetery started after Jose Prakash's daughter arrived from Germany by 11 a.m. Among the hundreds of people who came to pay their last homage to the thespian included actors Mammootty, Jayaram, Siddique, Idavela Babu, directors Joshy and T.V. Chandran and ministers K.C. Joseph, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, V.K. Ibrahim Kunju and P.J. Joseph. Cultural affairs minister K C Joseph paid the homage to the departed soul on behalf of the state government while S Sarma MLA paid last respects on behalf of opposition leader V S Achuthanandan. Revenue minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and public works minister V K Ibrahimkunju, MLAs Hibi Eden, Dominic Presentation, Loudi Louis, Benny Behnan and Jose Thettayil, mayor
