KATHAKALI ARTISTES DEMANDKathakali artistes have urged the government to prepare a scheme for preserving the quality of the art. The association will meet the Chief Minister and present their cause in the first week of January 2012. The State convention of the All Kerala Kathakali Artiste Welfare Association condemned the tendency to use Kathakali as a commercial art. Media critic A. Jayasankar inaugurated the convention.
