SELECTED FOR NEELASWARAM MEMORIAL AWARD

India Vision (Malayalam News Channel) Deputy News Editor, Veena George, has been selected for the 9th Surendran Neelaswaram Memorial Award, 2011, for her comprehensive contribution to the field of media.Talking to newsmen at a press conference, Secretary of Surendran Smaraka Samithi, P Vijaya Kumar, said the award would be presented by V M Sudheeran, former Assembly Speaker of Kerala, at a function in Neelaswaram NKBM Hall, in Kasargod district on December 3.The award carries a purse of Rs 10,001 and a citation.The selection committee comprised Dr Sebastian Paul, Prof M A Rahman and Prof K P Jayarajan.
