ST.GEORGE AWARD FOR PANAKKAD SAYEED BASHEER ALI SHIHAB THANGALPanakkad Sayeed Basheer Ali Shihah Thangal has been selected for the second St George award for social commitment instituted by the Indian Christian Movement. The award is given to him considering his contribution to the social, educational and political field. The jury comprising justice K Padmanabhan Nair, Thampi Kannanthanam and Adv KB Sabu selected him. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,001, a plaque and a certificate. It would be presented at the Christmas and New Year function of Christian Movement.
