CHIDAMBARAM SPOKE AGAINST KERALA
Union home minister P Chidamabram has come out against Kerala on Mullaperiyar issue. He said the parties in Kerala have taken up the issue foreseeing the by polls and after the polls are over, their apprehensions would be ended. He said the Supreme Court verdict would be in favour of TN in the issue. He said the apprehensions over the dam's strength are baseless. The dam was constructed for Tamil Nadu people. He was speaking in a function organized by TN Congress committee on Koodamkulam and Mullaperiyar issues. Union shipping minister GK Vasan sought the urgent intervention of the Prime Minister in Mullaperiyar issue. But PC statements have invited the wrath of many leaders in Kerala as Minister PJ Joseph said that PM must remove Chidambaram from the post.
