FOUR MALAYALEE TUDENTS DROWNED IN NETHRAVATHI RIVER

Four Malayalee students were drowned in Nerthravathi river. They drowned after being swept away by strong currents in Nethravathi river near Innoli Dharmanagar on Sunday evening,25TH December,2011. Rinas from Vengara, Malappuram, Sabad from Kasargod, Safwan from Koothuparampa and Shihad from Neeleswaram were drowned. They were studying at Bearies Institute of technologies, Innoli.  Students from Bearys Institute of Technology decided to go swimming in Netravathy river. They started a game of ball in the river, and five of them went deep into the river to retrieve the ball.
